Job Description
Job Title: Customer Service Specialist
New positions for Customer Service Specialist to support a fast-paced, business-to-business environment. This role is responsible for managing incoming calls and providing accurate information regarding order status, pricing, product availability, and general product questions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling customer orders via phone, including processing credit card payments and expedited orders
- Issuing and maintaining debit/credit memos on customer accounts for price, freight, customer number, and representative number corrections
- Coordinating closely with Regional VP staff, factory representatives, shipping, production planning, returns, and purchasing to resolve issues and ensure timely, accurate service
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures while delivering professional, courteous customer support
The ideal candidate will have prior customer service or clerical experience, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. Familiarity with order processing and account adjustments is highly beneficial.
Schedule:
- Duration: Temporary to hire
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Days: Monday–Friday (no weekends)
