Job Description
QUALITY INSPECTOR NEEDED FOR DAY SHIFT! $16.50/HOUR TO START!
**TEMP-TO-HIRE** **ROGERSVILLE AREA**
Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of magnet wire products on the production floor
- Perform various quality tests on the product; manual and visual inspections; report all rejects as required
- Create and maintain files of Customer Test Certifications for all outgoing products
- Review daily reports, which provide information on product conformance to include statistical summaries, Hold List, Quality Alerts, & 24 Hour QA report
- Participate in measurement process for plant product qualifications
- Follow all established safety, health, procedures and recognized practices
- Report completed rework of defective products data according to established procedures
- Provide Operator & Inspector training for quality test methods and procedures
- Perform specified checks in accordance to Plant’s inspection plan
- Verify correct operation of in-line inspection devices
- Complete all reports and forms for product and process documentation.
- Communicate about quality with other shifts and departments verbally and through written documents according to established procedures
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector
- Must be able to use micrometers and calipers
- Understanding of quality control procedures and processes
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Must be able to bend, lift, push, pull 50+ on a continuous basis
- Must be able to work 8 hour shifts; standing or walking entire shift
- High school diploma or equivalent
